This is something coworkers could do as well!!! The latest version of the Allgäu-Orient Rally 2013 was sold out in a little more than 2 minutes. 111 participants signed up in this short period to take part in this rally for a good cause. The rules: You can take part in a car that costs less than 1111 Euros, or is older than 20 years. Starting in the south of Germany, the participants will drive to Amman in Jordan, where they will leave their cars for a good cause. What a great idea!!! I think a rally like this would be wonderful for coworking as well. Anybody inspired?
We continue our series on great coworking videos, that we started with Scrib Coworking, with the video by desktime featuring coworking owners from Chicago. The video was produced by Gus Gavino. Audio interviews include Jamie Russo, Ryan Evans, Miguel Wong and Eric Harper, with original music by Jay Esangga.

This is article number 522 and we are still hungry for more ;-) Talking about food, we hope we have give you a lot of „food for thought“ on coworking, and we like to continue to do so. This is not so much about our blog, but about what we can achieve together. That is why we like to talk about what you do, your coworking spaces and your projects!!! On this special day, our 3rd birthday, we like to share „Incredible Edible“ with you, which has also been going for three years. We love the project and the people!!! There is so much in this project that the coworking community can use and develop!!! Enjoy the video and be inspired!!!
To express what coworking is about video or film is an extremely valuable tool. It allows you to document your space. It also allows you to show what you and your members aspire to. We like to invite you to share these special videos with us on CoWorking News. Today, we like to start with this excellent video of Scrib Coworking in Boulder, CO. The video was produced by „The Coffee Black“ and directed, filmed and edited by Nicholas Todd.
Already one of the great fruits of the widespread discussion on free coworking is the acknowledgement that paid coworking has lost its bearings in many instances. Alex Hillman on his blog dangerouslyawesome puts it like this: „MANY paid coworking spaces aren’t differentiating themselves from business centers and aren’t keeping in line with the coworking core values. Social capital is often missing from the exchange between the provider and the member.“ I fully agree with Alex!!!
