Coworking is about sharing and collaboration, that is why we like to invite YOU to take part in the #cowotools survey looking at: “What are the most important tools that you use for your work in a coworking space?”

One of the feedbacks we received on our recently started daily Free Coworking News was to gather and report more on tools, products & services in and around coworking.
There is a category in the Coworking Wiki called “Coworking Tools“. We suggest, if you add something in this category in the Wiki please Twitter by using “#cowotools“, so everybody knows and everybody can benefit.
Zack Hirschfeld, an activist in our campaign, pointed me to this very powerful concept of cradle-to-cradle design. Underneath you find William McDonough´s TED talk in half (for people with little time). The full talk is here.
In July 2010, we were fascinated by the project “Plastiki“. A boat made out of 12,500 plastic bottles to make a change. The idea was to draw the attention to the plastic waste in our oceans. The project received wide attention ( Oprah, NYTimes etc.) and represents a benchmark in terms of creativity, team spirit and publicity factor for a good cause. This week we found the story of the “Philippine solar light bottles that offer hope“. A concept originally credited to the Brazilian Alfredo Moser.
We always strive to offer our readers a new service and extra “coworking value”. After establishing the “European CoWorking Directory” and the “Open International CoWorking Calendar“, we launch today our format ”Project of the Week“. The idea is to present once a week a project that is of special interest for the international coworking community. It can be a planned project, a project that needs support or financing, or a project that has already been running and has now reached a new level of operation like the CLUBOFFICE-MemberCard we present today.
