With the “Invite Project Members” option (near the bottom of the input form, in the drop down list) you can now indicate that you like to collaborate with someone on a project you are currently working on. To describe your project we now have the “Your Offered Skill / Project” box. We believe that these new features are extremely valuable for every coworker and they are of course for free. Please give us feedback and comment (below) regarding the new features and if you like them please spread the word for the new “Free Coworking” Skill Sharing Tool.

There are two points of development we like to tackle as soon as possible. Firstly, the best way to edit entries if necessary. Secondly, we like to offer you  more options on our standardized search filter that we called (…”skill sharing in a broad domain…”). Please suggest further entries that we can offer in this column F.

By chance we found that the current system is particularly attractive for users of an Ipad. The spreadsheet offers for these users preselected filters for every column. If you use another mobile device or browser please share your experience and thoughts with us.

To set the context for this list, I like to refer to the goal of our “Free Coworking” Group: To produce a breakthrough for “Free Coworking” and Coworking in general we want to join more than 10.000 committed coworkers which equates in my calculation to about 15.000.000 € in Social Capital. This Social Capital will attract the respective Financial Capital to finance the physical infrastructure of free coworking spaces for these coworkers to work in together. Working at home this exercise can take a day, for others it might take a week, or even longer. If  you have the time, that is fine, but if you need quicker results, consider the “fast track”. Being at home you can feel and search your soul for a long time, but what you will not get is a fast and “multi-dimensional” feedback. Being in a coworking space is completely different. You will get almost instant feedback and not only that you will also get the latest news and, if you care for it, the latest gossip.

Sometimes the feedback will tell you that you are on the right track, sometimes you will find out that you are not. Now, apart from redesigning or rescheduling your plans you might consider getting advice or coaching. You will find that in most coworking spaces there are many consultants and coaches. I, in coworking spaces in Munich for example, offer a decision coaching, if you are unsure which path or option you want to follow. Use the opportunity to meet and talk to your local consultants and coaches. Get to know them and clarify the essence of your problem.

Whatever route you take, make sure that your heart is in it and your energy flows freely.

Bitte beschreibt Euch kurz. Wie kam es zum coworkINN was sind Eure Grundüberlegungen?

Die Grundüberlegung war ganz einfach: Wir wollten eine unkomplizierte Möglichkeit schaffen, Büroräume bzw. Arbeitsplätze zu vermieten. Wobei sowohl der Mieter als auch der Vermieter mit so wenig Bürokratie wie möglich belastet werden. Wir als Vermieter haben große Freude daran große, helle und freundlich Räume einzurichten, die die Vermieter zum produktiven Zusammenarbeiten und kreativen Schaffen anregen.

Wie würdet Ihr in zwei, drei Sätzen die Arbeitskultur im coworkINN beschreiben?

locker – unkompliziert – flexibel – „ alles ist möglich“

Welche Raum- und Arbeitsplatzangebote können im coworkINN genutzt werden? Welche davon sind „pay per use“ bzw. extra zu buchen?

Wir wollen das Arbeiten so einfach und flexibel wie möglich gestalten. Es gibt offene Büros mit bis zu 6 Arbeitsplätzen, die frei gewählt werden können. Nach vorheriger Absprache können die Plätze fest reserviert werden.

Zusätzlich gibt es Einzelbüros, die auch für längere Zeit anzumieten sind. Ein Konferenzraum steht mit Präsentationstechnik zur Verfügung. Eine gemütliche Couchecke lädt zum Quatschen und Relaxen ein.

Im EG befindet sich das Coffe-to-Go, indem es immer kleine Leckereien gibt.

Welche Arbeitsausstattung bietet Ihr an? Was davon ist aufpreispflichtig?

Zur Ausstattung eines jeden Arbeitsplatzes gehört eine Internetverbindung LAN / WLAN. Eine große Ablage steht neben jedem Arbeitsplatz bereit. Im Preis inbegriffen ist eine angemessene Nutzung von Kopierer, Scanner und Fax. Für jeden gebuchten Tag gibt es einen Kaffeegutschein für das Coffee-to-Go im EG. Eine kleine Kaffee- und Teeküche steht zur Nutzung bereit.

Zusätzlich können Schließfächer, Schlüssel für Langzeitbucher oder der Konferenzraum mit Präsentationstechnik gebucht werden.

Wie sieht die Nutzerstruktur im coworkINN zur Zeit aus? Welche Professionen sind vertreten? Gibt es Schwerpunkte, auf die Ihr Euch spezialisiert habt?

Da wir erst gerade eröffnet haben, lassen sich noch keine Schwerpunkte erkennen.

Wie würdet Ihr die Lage Eures Space beschreiben? Und wie gut ist coworkINN zu erreichen?

Das CoWorkInn liegt inmitten der Automeile von Berlin an der Franklinstrasse, in der Nähe der City West gleich neben der TU am Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Die Anfahrt mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist sehr komfortabel.

Mit dem Bus 245 steigt man an der Haltestelle Marchstrasse aus und geht knapp 300 m die Franklinstrasse hoch.  Mit der U-Bahn kann man mit der U2 bis zum Ernst-Reuter-Platz fahren. Die nächste S-Bahn-Station ist der S-Bahnhof Tiergarten.

Gibt es regelmässige Veranstaltungen und/oder Tage der offenen Tür, bei denen Interessierte den coworkINN kennenlernen können? Und wenn ja: wann sind diese Termine?
