We are very happy to announce further improvements for the “Free Coworking” Skill Sharing Tool now consisting of an input form and an output form. The new features presented today are: the Help & Development page and the “Invite Project Members” option. With this new “Help & Development page” we now have a central document that covers a variety of topics. Ranging from general aspects of editing and support, to documenting all aspects of development of the whole tool. We can now list the individual features that we introduced as well as giving you an opportunity to engage in the development process.

The output and development of the “Free Coworking” Skill Sharing Tool already proves to be something very beneficial and productive. Yesterday Willi Schroll and I collaborated to improve on the Facebook Document and the Piratepad initially launched. We currently have a GoogleDocs solution with an input page and an output page. We like to invite your feedback to the current solution and ideas & suggestions for further development.

Things that are practical, are easy to explain. To explain why “Free Coworking” gathers “Social Capital” is not quite as easy to explain. Therefore I like to suggest something practical and beneficial for everybody: “Skill Sharing”. You say which skills you currently have and which skills you currently require for your work.  I am setting up a simple list in our Facebook Group which should hopefully become an open database soon. The content of the list: 5 elements. Name, City, Contact, Skills offered, Skills required! A simple example – Name:  Felix Schürholz, City: Munich (Germany), Contact: redaktion@coworking-news.de or Facebook, Skills offered: Blogging, Creativity & Coaching, Skills required: Graphic Design, Programming

Schaun mer mal…, was die Münchner daraus machen ;-)

One of the great things when you come back from a holiday is that you are more sensitive and more observant concerning your daily life and routines. Now is a great chance to change and improve small and big aspects in your work and life balance. If you happen to work in a company there is usually very little scope and opportunity for larger changes. If on the other hand you work at home or in a coworking space the largest limiting factor is usually you and your routines. What would you like to change, which aspect of your work-life balance needs more attention?
